Paris Design Week: RADO STAR PRIZE France 2018
The Jury of RADO STAR PRIZE France 2018 met to nominate the ten talents who will have the chance to exhibit their creations during Paris Design Week.
Rado is a Swiss Watch Brand that promotes creations by young designers. By offering financial and media support, this competition aims to raise awareness of the winning projects. The finalist’s projects will be presented at Paris Design, which will take place from 6th to 15th September 2018 and for which the brand is an official partner.
The jury for this event is made up of design professionals chaired by Big Game. Founded by three men, they are a Swiss design studio and their design stands out for its functionality, its simple shapes, and its unexpected details. Despite this minimalist approach, this creative trio manages to give a highly distinctive character to the objects they create.

Rossana Orlandi – Founder of Spazio Rossana Orlandi
After more than 20 years in fashion as a textile spinning consultant for brands such as Giorgio Armani and Donna Karan, she decided to pass on her passion for creation as a private collector. Since then she has worked as a curator for several exhibitions in Italy and abroad, and she also works with high-end fashion brands. Her perpetual research around the world has made her one of the most influential individuals in prospective young up and coming brands.

Maison et Objet Paris is the major event for professionals working in the art of living in all its rich and varied expressions and it is also an integral part of the Paris Design Week. In 2018 M&O will take place from 7 to 11 of September.
This event is where styles coexist in a multifaceted way, throughout the inventive show design which enlivens the spaces. Only in one space, you can find a lot of inspiring ambiances like decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances, the world of children.

Maison et Objet: Meet The Rising Talents For September Edition
After the first successful editions of Rising Talents Awards, Maison et Objet 2018 couldn’t happen without celebrating, one more time, the best of the design community. It’s now time to take a look on Lebanon’s talents, after the United Kingdom and Italy, and get to know a little bit more about what to expect from this designers at Parc des Expositions in Paris, from 7 to 11 September 2018.

After studying at the École Nationale Supérieure de Paris Val De Seine, Marc Dibeh chose to return to Beirut to pursue a Master’s in Product Design at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts.
After a three-year experience working alongside Marc Baroud, he went on to establish his own studio in 2009. Featured in institutions like Gallery S. Bensimon in Paris or Seeds London Gallery, his work skilfully plays on the notion of narrative and he consistently materializes his ideas with his very own stylistic approach.

Born in Ottawa, Canada, to a Finnish father and a Lebanese mother, Anastasia Nysten grew up in Finland, France, and Lebanon but choose this last one to pursue her degree in Industrial Design and later to start her career with Karen Chekerdjian. After three years in London, she established her own studio in 2015. Today, working from Beirut and Dubai, Anastasia expresses her multicultural background through her designs always through a bold look, one of the characteristic features of her work.

After he graduated from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts and ECAL Lausanne, Carlo Massoud moved to New York to learn the ropes.
He joined Nasser Nakib Architect to oversee bespoke furniture design and started his solo career in 2014 when he showed his Dolls project at the Carwan Gallery. His work fluctuates between functional design and art installation, in projects that usually incorporating a social and political comment.
